Meditation
The positive effects meditation has on physical health, emotional well -being, and high performance is incredible for everyone. Meditation is one of the most effective ways to reduce stress, anxiety, enhance emotional balance, increase longevity, improve brain functioning, and increase positive thinking. In this workshop we will explore the four tips for enhancing your meditation practice.


Yin / Gentle Yoga
A Yin Yoga practice typically includes a series of long-held, passive floor poses that mainly target the lower part of the body – the hips, pelvis, inner thighs, and lower spine. These areas are especially rich in connective tissues. The poses may be held for three minutes or longer to release and break up fascia. Gentle yoga, is a calming and centering type of yoga to soothe the nervous system, increase immunity, and create deep relaxation. It may make use of props to set up a comfortable pose that helps the practitioner release tension and feel at ease.


Chair Yoga
Is a gentle form of yoga that can be done while sitting on a chair. Some poses can also be done standing using a chair for support. Chair yoga can improve your flexibility, concentration and strength, while boosting your mood, and reducing stress and joint strain. Great for people with back, hip and knees energies, or that are tide in their muscles and restricted in their moves.


Hatha Yoga
Hatha yoga emphasizes the importance of meditation, combined with postures, breath work, energy locks, dietary selection, or other external means to increase awareness and understanding for achieving harmony between the mind and body. We use hot energy dynamic movements to strengthen and warm the muscles and ending with cold energy to bring balance and relaxation to the body.


Vinyasa Yoga / Power Yoga
This style of asana (physical posture) practice focuses on breath synchronized movements. Each posture links breath with specific body movements, creating a flowing meditation with each inhale and exhale. This style can be very fluid, and is often labeled Power Yoga or Vinyasa Flow. Sequences may be creatively designed with no fixed sequence, with a different theme for each class.


Pilates
Pilates is a method of exercise that consists of low-impact flexibility and muscular strength and endurance movements. It emphasizes proper postural alignment, core strength and muscle balance. Pilates focuses on trying to relax muscles which are tense and provide strengthening of the numerous muscles of the body.


Strength + Light Weights
A combination of smart and functional moves paired with the strengthening and toning. Using Pilates and Yoga techniques emphasizes proper postural alignments, to strengthen core and body muscles building endurance and strengthen balance. We make use of resistance bands and light weight to strengthen the upper body and shoulders.
